With so many teams using Lieder each season, it was difficult for the grounds keeper to keep all the divots, bare patches, and weeds at bay. Re-seeding was needed after every season, as the field slowly deteriorated in quality.

The field was leveled-off, drainage was installed, and top-quality FieldTurf was set down.
